David Dean: Boat Building TV Personality

Posted on August 11, 2006

David DeanThis particular David Dean is a host of a US local cable show that is focused on building boats. Local cable DIY kind of reminds me of Tim Allen somehow.

This series of half-hour programs about building boats has been a popular offering on over one hundred and fifty American Public Television stations for the past two years. Additionally, through the services of Beckmann International, Isle of Mann, The Boat Shop is now available worldwide! If it happens in a boatyard or on the water, you’ll see it on “The Boat Shop.”

Based on proven audience interest, this unique program takes viewers step-by-step through the building of a simple, distinctive watercraft. Boats of every kind are featured on “The Boat Shop” and every aspect of things nautical is fair game, from model building and craftsmanship, boat shows and museums to the restoration of antique and classic vessels.

Want more David Deans? Course ya do.
