Alien Rain?

In news that would be very cool if true, some scientists think that a mysterious red rain that fell in India in 2001 may have contained extra-terrestrial unicelular organisms. Apparently, these cells have been observed to reproduce, even though they don’t appear to contain any DNA or RNA. Link to Pop-Sci article. Link to Wikipedia article.
